Mike Sr. obtained his electrical contractors license in the 1980s. In 1998 his two sons decided to use it and put themselves to work. When Mike Sr. retired from the City of Albuquerque in 2004, they changed the company from Atler Electric to Atler Construction, Inc. Now in 2010, we changed from Atler Construction, Inc. to Atler & Sons Electric, LLC. There was confusion with the construction part of the name, so we changed it to show we are an electrical contractor. Mike's sons Stephen and Michael II, both hold their electrical journeyman's licenses, and have since the early 2000's. We currently are well under 5 employees, but have had as many as 25. We also need to say that we are family owned and operated, licensed, bonded and insured.
