Work Description: A/C inspection and refigerant
Comments: I was referred by a family member to Bob because our A/C at our new home went out. Bob came out and said the unit was out of refrigerant. He told me he could not identify what was wrong with the unit until it was refilled, which was $200 a pound, on a 4.5 lb unit. He claimed he refilled the refrigerant and came inside to check the furnace, which was not getting cold. He told me he could not identify the issue without taking the furnace apart. When I spoke to him prior to arriving to my home, he did not mention that he only took cash as payment, which is not how any other contractor I've dealt with has done business before. I gave him a service fee in cash and paid him by check since it was after 5pm when he arrived. Two days later, I had a different contractor came to give us a quote. He checked the refrigerant levels on the unit and said it was empty. He told me just based on his observation of the levels either there is a huge leak, which is unlikely, or no refrigerant was put in the unit at all. As a first time homeowner, I am extremely upset that I have been taken advantage of in this matter. I would not encourage anyone to use this business.Menomonee Falls WI

Comments: Bob called me on a Sunday night right after I submitted the request on networx. He showed up the next day and quickly identified the problem. He had the part in his truck and had it fixed in no time. Nice job.
