Work Description: removal and rebuilding of stone front stairs
Comments: We hired James and his crew to install a new bluestone front stairs and patio in our 100 year old home. The stone and concrete stairs are original to the house, and were badly cracked and in need of repair or replacement. As is often the case with jobs like this one, it was impossible to predict how much work would be required to remove all the old concrete and stone, and then rebuild new bluestone stairs, caps, and patio stones in front of the stairs. James and his 2-man crew were phenomenal. Very hard-working, professional, and paid great attention to detail. And despite being a lot more work than expected, James gave us a great price. The stairs and patio walkway came out beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We also need our driveway redone, and when we are ready for that we'll certainly be calling James back for that job. We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire A.P.M.

James gave us good advice on the choice of pavers vs asphalt, and created a beautiful area with a darker outside border and a lighter interior. They did it quickly and really high quality. James communicated promptly by phone multiple times. Totally recommend!

Work Description: Concrete Retaining Walls
Comments: We had a really positive experience working with James and his whole crew on a retaining wall repair/restoration. Our wall had been having issues with bulging, failing, and cracking. James explained what our options for repairing the wall were, explained why the wall had failed, and how they could fix previous repairs that had been done incorrectly. Despite some challenging days of bad weather, James’s team worked really hard to get our retaining wall back in good shape with great attention to detail. We were so pleased with the work that we also had them repair some brick work in our basement stairwell.James’s crew showed up on time every day, worked hard, and did high quality work. The work was also reasonably priced compared to some of the other bids we had for the job. We would highly recommend them.
