Work Description: Tree Removal/Trimming
Comments: I was satisfied with my initial decision to hire All Star Tree & Landscaping. They had told me they would come either Wednesday or Thursday. They arrived on Thursday. We had a large oak that we wanted removed. On Thursday they dropped the tree & hauled off a good portion of the debris. I paid them 1/2 of the money agreed to. The next day one guy returned. He worked non-stop all day, but where was the rest of the crew? Late that same day the boss stopped by. He asked for another 4/5th of the cash balance, which we agreed to. Matt said the guy who would be grinding the stump would be at our home between 10 & 10:30 am the next morning. Matt also said he'd come to finish the job by laying of sod. No one showed up and we received no phone calls. Matt and his crew are hard workers, but I would have appreciated hearing from them as we waited all day and no one called or showed up. I'm sure Matt and his crew will finish the job to our satisfaction, but we're not used to having someone telling us they'll be here a certain day and time, then never show up. Disappointing.UPDATE
Update: All Star 5 NEVER came back to finish the job. We tried daily (numerous times each day) calling Matt and he NEVER answered or returned our calls. It's like he vanished from the face of the earth. All Star 5 left the tree trunk in our backyard. Tree stump NEVER got ground up. Sod NEVER got laid. The job was NEVER completed. DO NOT PAY THIS GUY UNTIL HE FINISHES THE JOB HE STARTED. HE TALKS A GOOD TALK, BUT DOESN'T DELIVER. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!
