Comments: The pool company recommended him, and I almost gave them a one-star review for doing so. He overcharges and delivers poor-quality work. He left wires from the salt generator hanging and didn’t even zip-tie anything. He didn’t ask me where I wanted anything placed. One of the conduits he installed had water in it, which kept tripping the breaker. I had to hire my neighbors son who is an electrician to finish and clean up his work. The new electrician found two conduits without glue, which was allowing water to seep in. Since then, I’ve hired another electrician for additional work around the house and told him the story about the pool. Interestingly, they all refer to him as "Al Hack from Swansea." I wish I had known that beforehand. He charged me nearly $3,000 just to run wire mesh around the pool. The other electricians I hired said they only charge $750 per roll and $500 to $800 for labor. I only needed two rolls. This guy is a rip-off and does terrible work. Do yourself a favor and dont hire this guy.

He abandoned the job and refused to pay back her money. After chasing him for almost a year and a half, the case is now with the RI Attorney General. Hundreds of texts and calls from me and my husband to get him to the house as he did everything in piecemeal. He was paid (our fault for trusting him - he had done work on our pool last year and it went smooth) and he would not complete the job unless we literally called/texted incessantly. We ultimately gave him a deadline or we would seek court action. He promised us some of a refund for the delay/awful experience and shocker, never received any money back.
